An insightful education program provided by Australia's premier Indigenous energy procurement team
The Baaka Energy Education Program goals
The Baaka Education program has been created to support the aspirations of current and future generations of Aboriginal People. Education is the key to breaking the generational poverty cycle, and opening up the opportunities that Australia has to offer.
Our first goal is to support 500 Aboriginal students through whichever endeavour's they choose. Covering Years 11, 12 and mature aged students, the program will help seek and obtain post-secondary qualifications, acceptance into professional courses, apprenticeships and university degrees
Baaka Energy will fund the program activities through revenue raised through its commercial activities.
The program will
Fund Scholarships at each level, through school and post-secondary education and training.
Provide support and assistance for each student through appropriate bodies such as AIME.
Provide mentoring through building relationships with professionals from our customer and partner organisations.
Provide traineeships on an individual, school, university or regional basis working with client and partner organisations.
Create a program alumni association to provide one on one support for participants.
